[[Lesson from Stan—The Skill of Saying No]] # Phone Call Check-ins #### Relationship Building A phone call or lunch is relationship building in a way no email can be. All of the trades we deal with have other GCs or other clients they are working for who are emailing them daily asking for things. The Westland Way is to care and build relationships so be sure to check-in. #### at Billing Time This seems like something that would be easy for his generation to understand but I've sent many personal emails reminding that pay apps are due etc etc but I haven't done a phone call. I have tried to make sure I have a call with each sub PM or higher each month but it seems like a much better time to kill two birds with one stone.
